Hi! I’m Ash, and I’m currently a Junior at the UofA double majoring in English and History. This is my third year as a member of KAMP, and I am so excited to be taking on the role of Programming Director for this school year. Some of my favorite bands/artists are Neutral Milk Hotel, Flower Face, and Ethel Cain. I do listen to literally everything though, from j-pop to heavy metal. Hi! I am Cami, and I am a Live and Immersive Arts Major, and this is my third year as a member of KAMP! I really love all things related to music and concerts, and I am excited to share this with others as the Mobile DJ director. I am also a Pop Music Director this year, but that doesn’t mean that my music taste is limited to pop. My favorite bands are The Garden and STRFKR, and recently I have been into a lot of electronic artists and DJs, such as Ninajirachi, Underscores, and Frost Children. You can catch me dancing, jumping in the pit, and driving hundreds of miles to attend shows. 🙂

Hello!!! My name is Mia and I’m a journalism major with a minor in arts administration. I joined KAMP because I wanted more journalism experience outside of classes, and radio was something I’d never done before. I grew up listening to music on the radio and the talk shows in between, so getting to be the person behind the microphone is a surreal feeling! I’ve always had strong emotions when it comes to music, so getting to share my love of music on air has been the best part of college! I’ve met the greatest group of people through KAMP and I have so much creative freedom with this group <3 KAMP’s zine Frequency will always have my heart ♬⋆.˚

Jasmine: Hi! I’m Jasmine, one of the ALT MD’s for this school year! I am majoring in Journalism and Political Science, and I am also the News Desk editor for the Daily Wildcat! I am a Junior and have been a KAMP member since my freshman year. My favorite artists include The Cure, Deftones, and The Hellp. I really enjoy how fluid and versatile the alternative genre is, and how it challenges people to do something different. I’ve always been a fan of very angsty music, but I also really enjoy other subgenres like indietronica and indie rock that are on the happier side. I love talking and listening to music with everyone in KAMP, and I am excited to keep doing it this year!
Griff; I am an Environmental Science major in my Sophomore year! I have had a longtime music project called Sleepyhead, and I enjoy it because the process of writing music is very special to me and I love working with other musicians as well. I’ve listened to music for most of my life and because of that I am so grateful to be part of KAMP. My favorite memory would probably be 24 hr radio day 2025!

Kirby: What’s up, I’m Kirby! I’m a Natural Resource Management major with an Anthropology minor, and this is my fourth year with KAMP!! I was the heavy director two years ago and I’m super pumped to do Folk and Country this year again. I listen to a wide range of stuff, with Industrial and Folk being two genres close to my heart (Insane switch up i know). I’m a super art focused person, and have tried every medium I can get my hands on. If you ever need someone to yap to, I’m your guy! I can be found at various coffee shops either working on a new art project or getting way too into zelda playthroughs!”
K: Hey everyone I’m K!! I’m a double major in Info Sci and German and one of the Folk & Country MDs this year. This will be my fourth year with KAMP!! Some of my current favorite artists are Adrianne Lenker, Wednesday, and villagerrr. But I listen to sooo many genres and love discovering small and upcoming artists.

Madi: Hi! I’m Madi, and I’m a Pop MD for this year. I’m currently a senior, and I’m pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science. I joined KAMP my sophomore year, but I really started to get involved my junior year because of Alyssa. I loved the idea of having a radio show because I’ve always been into many different kinds of music, so I joined KAMP just to get a show, but I found it to be worth so much more than that, and now some of my closest friends are the people I have met here.

Micah: I joined KAMP because somebody randomly complimented my Sonic Youth T-Shirt on the Mall and told me to join. I just wanted people to talk about music to. I’ve made some of my best friends and favorite memories through this club and love all those who pass through it KAMP 4EVER
Josiah: I joined KAMP because I love music and being able to be in an environment where I know everyone has that same love is awesome. Being able to have a radio show and host instudios is also really great! I am double majoring in Philosophy, Politics, Economics and Law (PPEL) and Anthropology (considering a minor in Spanish). What got me into music is definitely going to local hardcore shows in Tucson. It showed me that music can be so much more than just what comes through your headphones and the community it can build.

My father got me into music at a very young age and was able to show music from all over the world. Hi! I’m Ashley and I’m one of the electronic music directors! I’m a FTV major and Comm minor! I joined Kamp my freshman year because I’ve always wanted to play my music and talk on the radio when I was younger. I love sharing my music and hearing what other kampers play on their shows too! Some of my favorite artists are The Hellp, LCD Soundsystem, Underworld, and Blood Orange. I don’t think my life would be as fulfilling as it is without listening to music and going to live shows. Kamp is my favorite part of the week, I love seeing all my friends and I love having a cute little community where we can talk about anything and share a laugh!

Kamsi: What’s up, everyone? My name is Kamsi Kanma-Okafor and I am one of your hip-hop directors for the 26/27 school year. Being a sophomore majoring in Communications and Journalism, I joined KAMP in my freshman year and I absolutely loved it. I’ve been an avid fan of so many types of hip-hop since I was little, but of course, I am also a passionate consumer of R&B, Afrobeats, Electronic, and Pop, but I dabble here and there. You can find me hanging out with friends or being an insufferable superhero fan. I love KAMP so much and I’m excited to yell about new music at meetings!
Omar: I joined Kamp because I love listening to music and being able to branch out my taste because of others. Im a nursing major. Music has always been something that I can rely on to make me feel better, and comfort me in times I need it most.
