Description: William Tyler, an impeccable guitarist whose latest album surveys western style music; hence the title: “Goes West”. These are songs you would listen to on a camping trip out in the states. I found that William does a great job capturing the Western style with his chosen arrangement. Listening through this album at least three times I found it capturing a Bluegrass theme which I greatly appreciated. What seems sophisticating to me is that there is the synths added in the arrangement; in which could be a modernized form of Folk/Bluegrass music, but worked out overall. In my general view of this album: William Tyler captures the western style of folk/bluegrass that is modernized than traditional. A great album that surveys Western-Folk music.
