Description:
I started listening to the CD and was a bit unimpressed…the first two tracks were average and didn’t fit my high expectations for TPC. However, I have to say, the song Hercules is sooo good–the second the song started I was already rocking out. It’s a fun song that I can imagine being performed at a pool-side concert. I also really like the vocals on Track 4–they are clear and sound like quality compared to first few tracks where it seemed like someone turned up the gain on all the amps, distorting the sound. The rest of the album is really relaxing and easy to listen to…makes me want to hear the band live.
Also, track 6 is really good! If only we could get a clean version…
Sounds Like: Death Cab for Cutie, Interpol
Recommended Tracks:
Track 3- Hercules:Upbeat toe-tapper, head-bopper
Track 4- Simple Dude: clear vocals- a rock ballad
