Description:
“El Mal Querer” which translates to “The Evil Want” was a nice surprise. It brought me back to when I was studying abroad in Spain, and certain tracks like “DI MI NOMBRE” sounded reminiscent of what would be playing in the trendy clubs and bars in downtown Madrid. The beats and production on the vocals were very similar to how most pop songs sound today, however some tracks were definitely more theatrical and traditional such as “NANA.” There was a lot of variety throughout the album, the singer without a doubt has a lovely voice, sounding very smooth yet powerful. I tended to enjoy the more upbeat songs on the album, particularly “DE AQUI NO SALES” and even though I do not know spanish I was still able to enjoy the album.
Sounds Like: Dua Lipa, Camila Cabello, Shakira >>>but all in Spanish
Recommended Tracks:
DE AQUI NO SALES- Cap.4: Disputa
