Description:
Jazz will forever be one of my personal favorite genres to listen to upon my leisure. The ambience overall feels lively and has its own panache. “Nuf Said” is a modern Jazz group that I have come to appreciate as far as modern Jazz goes. The arrangement in this album is your standard in a Jazz Band and that’s what I like about this album itself. My slight problem with this album mainly comes from guitarist, Matthias Loescher as his performance on guitar seems to push the genre more towards rock rather than Jazz. It could be that he has a more Indie/alternative approach. Vocaist, Ioana Vintu does an incredible performance in this album and I appreciate hearing some of vocal influences that I infer she is influenced by such as Billie Holiday and Amy Winehouse. The rhythm is without a doubt, catchy and easily hooks you. A definite favorite of modern jazz.
