The Transparent Tones have a classic alt-rock sound with a “bright” sound, contrasted to classic emo-alt rock. It’s fast-paced, groovy and has overall cheery tones. I am amazed at the variety they are also able to achieve with their simple yet high-quality instrumentation.

I definitely would love to see these guys perform live. Thomas and Marius seem to have really good chemistry (yes, I stalked the band Instagram page) and would be able to pull off an engaging and energetic show. I think that Transparent Tones is amazing for staying true to classic rock influence in a time where an appreciation for rock is not broadcasted so often. This is definitely a solid debut album and I hope to hear more from them!
