Description:
American actor and jazz pianist, Jeff Goldblum, is out with his debut jazz album along with the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra and honestly I love it! It is super relaxing but soooooo happy. It’s very sea breeze easy going with a lot of lively beats to keep you happy and awake. AND THE HORNS ARE FABULOUS. The recordings are live and you really get to share the feeling that is coming from him and the musicians as they’re playing. He has a lot of guest-singers on there and they add their beautiful voices and playfulness. (Especially Haley Reinhart… she has a gorgeous voice.) And the conversations between the singers are so entertaining to listen to. The only note I have is that Sarah Silverman was not meant to be a jazz singer, but I still love her. She can actually sing very well but you can’t get passed the high pitches in her voice but the song she sings is very funny and he mentions Jurassic park and hooray. That being said, the piano and horns are my favorite part. They are so good. Overall, color me impressed, and I highly recommend!
Sounds Like: Jeff Goldblum but like playing the piano …
