I really enjoy Japanese Breakfast’s take on this classic Bon Iver track. They add to the original sound quite a bit, and I think the result is really worth the listen. The additional instrumentation in the Japanese Breakfast cover gives the song a much fuller sound. Additionally, Michelle Zauner’s vocals are intoxicatingly sweet and floral on this track. This makes the cover feel calmer, sweeter, and more pensive than the original because of the refined sound. I highly recommend listening to this cover if you want to hear a different spin on the original track.
