Description:
I Don’t Know How But They Found Me is out with their 1981 EP (that has actually been out since November of 2018 but hey) and. it. is. great! If you want to relive your middle school pop punk emo days that I’ve never left, than definitely give it a listen. In case you didn’t know, this is Dallon Weekes musical duo that was started after he left Panic! at the Disco. This duo formed in 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah. If you didn’t love Dallon before, you will definitely love him now. I love his weird, whiny, airy, vocals. They make you feel some type of way and it really is the best part of all the tracks. All the songs sound super upbeat but have pretty dark lyrics and its perfect. It really makes you want to bob your head and you have to stop yourself from randomly moving/dancing with attitude, while walking to class. In general, they remind me of Panic!’s “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out” and Gerard Way’s new music, with a bit of neon trees. Overall, if you have snake bites, dark black hair that falls into your face, and wear a lot of chokers an black, GIVE THIS A LISTEN…
You won’t regret it.
Sounds Like: If Panic! and and Gerard Way had a kid that listened to some songs by the Neon Trees
Recommended Tracks:
All of them but especially
2 – Choke – Your first introduction to his vocals !!
3 – Social Climb – I don’t even know how to explain it but also horns 😀
8 – Do It All the Time – LOVE the Chorus
