Description:

Hotel Mira is your basic alt rock. There’s some really clean drums and guitar, but that really stands out to me. The band is from Vancourver and comprised of members from JPNSGRLS. The garage rock inspired songs are simple but fun. “Baby”, the EP’s title track, has Arctic Monkey’s vibes with a driving guitar. “That Man” has a good vibe to it that reminds me a little of Car Seat Headrest. I can imagine a crowd moshing around to “3 AM Lullaby” at a house show. The bridge really switches things up, and I like that they added that dimension to the song. The emo closer “Stockholm” starts slow but really picks up and brings the EP to a conclusive ending.
