Hataali- The Indie-genous (play of the words of 'Indigenous' and 'indie') poet

Album: Waiting For A Sign (Expanded Edition)

Artist: Hataałii

Label: Dangerbird Records

Non-Airable Tracks: Brown Fool Eyes (Explicit)

Description: Hataałiinez Wheeler, stage name Hataałii, is member of the Navajo Tribe and he grew up in the capital of Navajo Nation: Window Rock, AZ. This is Hataalii's second studio album with Dangerbird Records. The 21 year old has a knack for country-based neofolk music, his drowsy deep vocals creates a deep comforting ambiance. His "Waiting For a Sign" album contains his signature abstract lyrics and guitar rhythms, with the addition of the slide guitar it adds a nice true country feel. This album definitely gives off a cool indie abstract vibe. His song of "Brown Fool Eyes", is personally my favorite out of the album. I highly suggest to check out his music, he is a genius when it comes to his musical talent.
