Goldrush had another successful year. This years lineup was filled with all your favorite artists mixed with innovative activities, out of the box vendors, and amazing food. Goldrush is one of Relentless Beats largest festivals. It takes place every year at the Rawhide event center, which even further the old western theme. Goldrush not only brought you a fire lineup but each performer had unbelievable imagery and connected with the crowd in their own individual ways.
As a first time raver, this festival blew my mind. I went into this festival not knowing what to expect and only have the after-movies of large festivals like EDC to live through. However, no video will be able to fully capture the experience of attending Goldrush. The atmosphere at this festival was amazing. People came from all over and sported a wide variety of outfits. Everyone was there to have a good time and live in the moment. Which was an infectious feeling. I think the best way to describe the environment was free. You just felt free.
I think one of my favorite performers of the night was Louis The Child. These guys know how to go hard and have some fun. They were constantly engaged in the crowd and brought hit after hit. Not only was their set fire, there graphics were out of this world. They told a story which, in my opinion, is what music is all about and it made it that much more special. Along with Louis The Child, there were some up and comers that were definitely ones to see. Said The Sky and Loud Luxury were two of my favorites and truly stood out to me.
If you haven’t been to a rave/festival like this one, and you are trying to get into this type of event. This is a great event for you. Even if you are not totally familiar with the artist, go. Relentless Beats brings amazing artists who will not disappoint. Goldrush also had a good amount vendors where you can look at the merchandise and festival attire. To my surprise, there was also a pop-up massage parlor and small hangout spots with loads of activities, like a vintage shooting arcade game. The diversity in the lineup was great and there was music for everyone from face melting bangers to uplifting melodies. Goldrush was a great experience and I would recommend this festival to anyone.
If you don’t know how or where to find these festivals Relentless beats hosts several other events from the EDM loving Arizonian. The next festival is BOO!. BOO! is a festival that takes place on the 20th of October so come get lit to some dope bangers in the spooky season. Not only is there a halloween festival, there is a festival every New Year’s Eve called Decadence. If you haven’t already heard of decadence, where have you been? Decadence is another larger festival put on by Relentless Beats and this years line up is not one to miss! This years lineup included Alison Wonderland, Porter freaking Robinson, Skrillex, Rezz, San Holo and more.
