Description:
This album is definitely my favorite Paul McCartney album he has released since the 80s. He is true to himself; an artist that has mastered keeping up with the times while still having his iconic Paul McCartney vibe. Some songs are very reminiscent of Wings tunes, and his iconic Beatle harmonies slip their way in as well. “Fuh You” is definitely his cheekiest and most catchy song on the album. It is like a 2018 version of The Beatles’ “Why Don’t We Do it in the Road?” off the White Album. “Hand in Hand” has the quality of a romantic love ballad much like Wings’ “Maybe I’m Amazed.” Overall, I was definitely pleased with this album and have been playing it frequently. Paul McCartney, one of the greatest pop songwriters we have heard, can definitely still rock it at 76. Great vocals, production, and tunes-10/10.
