Canadian musician, Devin Townsend, is out with his new single “Genesis” and it is a single. Maybe you know him from his other music groups like Strapping Young Lad, and if you’re into that… good for you. This song is most definitely progressive metal. It’s pretty weird like all prog metal usually is. It has a real weird start up with angelic voices. There are individual parts of the song that sound good but as a whole song it doesn’t really fit. They sound like they are trying to be ghost and then can’t. It’s not bad but it’s not awesome. It’s real experimental so… have fun?
